Cokato Man Gets More Than 5 Years for Fatal Crash That Killed 3
Paul Anthony Wickenhauser was sentenced for the drunken crash that killed three, including a mother and daughter from Eden Prairie, according to The West Central Tribune.
The man convicted of killing three people in a drunk driving crash last summer has been sentenced to more than five years in prison.
According to the West Central Tribune, Paul Anthony Wickenhauser, 22, of Cokato was sentenced last Friday to 67 months in prison on three felony charges for causing a motor vehicle crash that killed three people last summer near Willmar. Wickenhauser plead guilty to the three charges of criminal vehicular homicide or operation with an alcohol concentration of 0.08 or more July 29.
Eden Prairie's Michelle Hoffman, 40, and her 8-year-old daughter, Julia, were killed in the crash. The crash occurred near where U.S. Highway 12 intersects with Kandiyohi County Road 127, the publication reported. Hoffman's mother-in-law, Marta Stoffers, 68 of Atwater, was the third person killed in the crash.
