Cokato Man Pleads Guilty to Fatal Crash That Killed Two from Eden Prairie

Paul Anthony Wickenhauser pleaded guilty to three felony charges, according to the West Central Tribune.

A 22-year-old Cokato man pleaded guilty to three felony charges Monday for a fatal vehicle crash that killed three last summer near Willmar. Two of the victims were an Eden Prairie mother and daughter.

According to the West Central Tribune, Paul Anthony Wickenhauser entered three pleas to criminal vehicular homicide or operation with an alcohol concentration of 0.08 or more include, one for each person killed in the Aug. 17, 2012 accident.

Eden Prairie's Michelle Hoffman, 40, and her 8-year-old daughter, Julia, were killed in the crash. The crash occurred near where U.S. Highway 12 intersects with Kandiyohi County Road 127, the publication reported. Hoffman's mother-in-law, Marta Stoffers, 68 of Atwater, was the third person killed in the crash.

Wickenhauser will be sentenced Aug. 9.
