Eden Prairie’s Nick Leddy Helps Blackhawks to Stanley Cup Victory

The defenseman played in all six games of the Stanley Cup finals.

Eden Prairie’s Nick Leddy didn’t spend much time on the ice in the final game of this year’s Stanley Cup championship, but the more than one hour he played in the series overall contributed to the Blackhawk’s victory.

Leddy played in 91 shifts over 68 minutes 14 seconds on the ice throughout the six-game series—including 26 minutes of play in the first game against Boston. The defenseman took a total of six shots during that time.

The 2009 Eden Prairie High School grad was named Minnesota's Mr. Hockey in his senior year. He led the Eagles to the 2009 Minnesota Class AA State Championship, the first ever for the school.
