Minnesota for Marriage Organizing Rally in Eden Prairie
The group wants to opposition to bills in the state Legislature that would legalize gay marriage.
Eden Prairie is among the locations that the leading group against gay marriage plans to visit during an upcoming “road trip.”
Minnesota for Marriage has organized “Stand for Marriage Rallies” in 11 cities to take place between April 12 and April 21, the organization announced.
“We are packing the Minnesota for Marriage RV for a Stand for Marriage Rally in your area with buttons, t-shirts, bull-horns, Guest Speakers, Minnesota for Marriage staff, and much more!” an announcement on the organization’s website said.

The Eden Prairie rally will take place April 20 or 21, but details aren’t firm yet. Updated locations and times will be provided here.
Minnesota for Marriage is attempting to generate opposition to bills in the state Legislature that would legalize gay marriage. Lawmakers are expected to vote on the bills later in the session.
