AirMaxx is a 25,000 square-foot park that includes wall-to-wall trampolines, laser tag, mini bowling, mini golf and an arcade. There are also viewing areas and party spaces. AirMaxx opened in December.

"It is our hope that this facility over the course of the next few months will become a centerpiece attraction for the southwest metro area," said AirMaxx CFO Mike Balfanz, who is also a doctor of chiropractic.

Potential leasees for the other spaces include basketball courts, a consignment sporting goods store, rock climbing, curling, dance studio, fitness/personal training/yoga studio, golf simulators/proshop and gun range/training center.

"We are also in the initial building phase of our restaurant/bar, self-serve yogurt stand and Starbucks coffee shop," Balfanz said.

AirMaxx is located in leased space from Terry Lynner, who owns Champion’s Hall.

Champion’s Hall had a setback last summer when, during the construction of the indoor turf field, the steel girders collapsed. New steel was delivered last week so completion of the field should be complete this spring.

The idea for Champion's Hall came from Lynner, who invested $2 million in 2011 to buy the empty 120,000-square-foot industrial building that was the former home of Viking Press, according to the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal in an informative article from Jan. 18.
