Strong Turnout at Brunswick Zone for Mandy Matula

Organizers are reporting that about 2,800 people walked in the door for Mandy Matula's fundraiser at Brunswick Zone on Monday night.

Although there has been no sign of Matula, family and friends are not giving up. Matula formerly worked at Brunswick Zone. Live music, a silent auction, bowling and laser tag entertained at the event which benefited the "Mandy Matula Fund."

People left comments on the "Finding Mandy Matula" Facebook page about Monday's success:

I couldn't believe how many people in this community came out to the bowling ally tonight and showed the Matula family how much they love Mandy!
The fundraiser was a good turn out and I was glad I could make it out there and show my support. :)

It was amazing and heart warming to see so many out of the bowling alley in Mandy Matula t-shirt today. How one person can touch so many? She definitely is loved and missed by a lot. So happy to see all who came out to support her. I'm sure the Matula Family is very proud knowing their Angel is deeply loved. Its been an honor to be part of this who is so caring. Lets find her bring her home now.

Matula has been missing since the night of May 1.

Matula and David Roe were in a relationship but had broken up recently. Officers asked to speak to Roe after he was identified as a “person of interest,” and he agreed to come in to talk to police.

Roe shot himself in the Eden Prairie City Center parking lot before police were able to speak with him. Anyone with information on Matula's whereabouts is asked to call 952-949-6200.
