The fifth-year senior graduated last semester and is now in grad school.
Former Eden Prairie baseball star JT Canakes had ample ties to the University of Minnesota’s baseball program. His head coach had played there, and teammate who was a year ahead to decided to play there. So it was not surprising that Canakes also decided to play for the Gophers.
The fifth-year senior, who actually graduated last semester and is now in grad school, is nearing the end of his college baseball career. Gopher Sports sat down for an interview with Canakes that was published Monday.
