Eden Prairie Standout Students: Dean's Lists, College Grads and Honors

Clemson University Grad

Andrew Scott Evans of Eden Prairie graduated from Clemson University on May 10, 2013, with a Master of Science in Automotive Engineering.

Evans was among 3,053 students who received degrees at three commencement ceremonies at Littlejohn Coliseum.

Presidential Honors at Gustavus

Jennifer Banyard, a 2012 Hopkins grad and Minnetonka resident made the Dean's List and received Presidential Honors at Gustavus. She is a Sociology Major.  

Augustana College Grads

Four hundred and thirteen students participated in the Augustana College Commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 25, at the Elmen Center.

University of North Dakota President’s Roll of Honor

Theses students from Eden Prairie made the 2013 Spring Semester President’s Roll of Honor. To qualify, a student must have an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.80 or higher.

UW-Whitewater Dean's List

Christine Verseman from Eden Prairie has made the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Dean's List for the 2013 spring semester.

Students selected for the Dean's List have demonstrated their academic abilities by receiving a grade point average of 3.4 or above in a single semester.

Beloit College Dean's List

The following local student has been named to the spring 2013 Dean's List at Beloit College: Abigail Rue of Eden Prairie. Rue is a Senior.

Gonzaga University Grad

Samuel Dower of Minneapolis participated in Gonzaga University's graduation exercises during a Commencement Ceremony held on May 12th in Spokane's Veterans' Memorial Arena. 

University of San Diego Grads

The following students graduated from the University of San Diego on May 26.

Diana Veronica Burke of Eden Prairie graduated. Burke earned a bachelor's degree in English.

Max Nanzig of Eden Prairie graduated. Nanzig earned a bachelor's degree in Communication Studies.

Rice University Grads

Stephen Bachicha of Eden Prairie, graduated from Rice University in Houston on May 11. Bachicha received a Doctor of Musical Arts degree.

Michael Fuad of Eden Prairie, graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Augustana's Dean's List

Augustana College announced that Brooke DeJong, of Eden Prairie, MN, has been named to the Dean's List for the spring semester of the 2012-2013 academic year. The Dean's List recognizes full-time students who have a minimum of 12 credit hours with grade-point averages at 3.5 or above.

Butler University Study Abroad

Sixty-two Butler University students studied abroad during the spring 2013 semester, including Margo Graff of Eden Prairie and Frances Massaroni of Eden Prairie.

St. Olaf College Dean's List

The Dean's list recognizes students with a semester grade point average of 3.75 or higher on a 4-point scale. St. Olaf College has named the following local students to the St. Olaf College Dean's list for the Spring 2013 semester:

Cassandra Paulsen from Eden Prairie is a Political Science major. She is the daughter of Erik and Carolyn Paulsen.

Brian Plante from Eden Prairie is a Chemistry major. He is the son of Arthur Plante and Victoria Plante.

Reilly Quirk from Eden Prairie is a Spanish major. She is the daughter of Patrick and Heidi Quirk.

Kevin Kraus, Luther College vice president for academic affairs and dean of the college, has announced that 792 were named to the 2013 spring semester Dean's List.

McKenna Campbell-Potter, Luther College sophomore from Eden Prairie, Minn., was named to the list.

Upper Iowa University Dean's List

Marissa Gearou of Eden Prairie, MN, was named to the Upper Iowa University 2013 Spring Dean's List. To be honored, the undergraduate must have earned a minimum 3.50 GPA for the semester and be enrolled as a full-time student.

University of Illinois at Chicago Grad

Roberta Testor of Eden Prairie earned a MS in Health Informatics at the May 2013 Commencement of the UIC College of Applied Health Sciences.

College of St. Scholastica Dean's List
