5 Want To Serve On The Eden Prairie School Board

Three people are needed for four-year terms.

Five people want to serve on the Eden Prairie School Board, but only three are needed.

The filing period for the November School Board election ended Tuesday, Aug. 13. At this fall’s election, three members will be elected to the school board for four-year terms. 

The five candidates who filed for the election are current School Board Chair Ranee Jacobus, Holly Link, Elaine Larabee, Murshid Barud and Tim Laurie. 

Current board members Suzanne Kutina and Chuck Mueller will not be returning for another term. Both were elected in 2009.
