Golden Valley Council Votes ‘Yes’ to Light Rail Resolution

In a 3-2 vote, the Golden Valley City Council adopted a resolution of support for the Bottineau Transitway locally preferred alternative on Dec. 18. The backing from the city moves the light rail project into a preliminary engineering phase that representatives from Hennepin County say will cost roughly $90 million.

Sleep Out Event in Plymouth Looks to Raise $1.95 million

Community members are braving the cold and sleeping in tents to raise money for Interfaith Outreach programs. The group is about $500,000 shy of their goal. The campaign runs through the end of the December.
