Thief Steals Eden Prairie Band's Banjo

The banjo was stolen during a vehicle break-in.

Someone stole a band's banjo during a vehicle break-in.

Eden Prairie police went to a home on the 6000 block of Stonewood Court following a report of a theft that took place between 8 p.m. Dec. 30 and 5 a.m. Dec. 31, according to Eden Prairie police reports.

A 66-year-old man and a 20-year-old man told officers the vehicle had been parked in the driveway. One of the victims found the rear cargo hatch unlocked and various guitars and accessories, including the banjo, were missing.

The victims are working on compiling a loss inventory.
