Cello Stolen During School District Concert

The cello and bow are worth $2,000 total, according to Eden Prairie Police.

Someone stole a cello during an Eden Prairie school district orchestra concert, according to police reports.

The performance took place at Wooddale Church. The student put the cello in a marked area where the instruments were being stored at 8:20 p.m., a 39-year-old Eden Prairie man told police. When the student returned at 9:30 p.m., the cello and a wooden bow were missing.

The cello is valued at $1,800, and the bow is worth $200, according to police.
