Obituary: Virgil Wayne Bredow

Bredow had lived in Eden Prairie since 1992.

An Eden Prairie dentistry expert died Wednesday at the age of 89, according to a Washburn-McReavy obituary.  

Virgil Wayne Bredow was born in Denver, IA. After graduating from high school in 1942, he joined the and served in the European Theater with the 92nd Signal Battalion during World War II.  

He became a dental technician after leaving the Army and then became co-owner of Waterloo Prosthetic Company.  

He retired in 1987 and moved to Eden Prairie in 1992.   Bredow is survived by his wife, son, sister, six grandchildren and five grandchildren.  

A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday at the Peace Chapel at the Minneapolis Veterans Home (5101 Minnehaha Ave. S.). Visitation takes place one hour prior. Burial will take place in Waterloo, IA.
