Eden Prairie Man Had 'Compassionate Nature, Infectious Smile'

A celebration of Randy Phillips' life and visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 30.

Randy Phillips, 61, of Eden Prairie, died Thursday, July 18, 2013, of Alzheimer's disease.

"He will be remembered for his compassionate nature, infectious smile, and knack for being mischievous," according to his obituary on Legacy.com and in the Star Tribune. "Passions in life were his devotion to God, his wife, love of animals, family, fencing, humor, research, enjoying nature, desserts, and being happy."

A celebration of his life will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7110 France Ave. S., Edina. Visitation will be one hour prior to the celebration at the Cremation Society.
