More Information About New Eden Prairie Center Stores

No stores will close to make way for the five new ones coming to Eden Prairie Center in 2013-14.

Shannon McNamara, marketing coordinator for Eden Prairie Center, said the new locations of the five businesses are empty right now.

Here is a list of the stores, which includes their expected opening dates and specific locations:

Sub Zero Ice Cream and Yogurt

Expected opening: March 2013

Location: The former Ben & Jerry's space, near Doc Popcorn in Center Court.

Cotton On

Expected opening: May 2013

Location: The former Pac Sun space. Construction has already started on the store, which will be across from the Food Court next to Hollister in the Upper Level Sears wing.

Teavana

Expected opening: June 2013

Location: The former All my Walls space, which is on the Lower Level in Center Court next to Von Maur.

Francesca’s

Expected opening: June 2013

Location: The former Kay Jewelers space. JuJu Gear is currently in this space, but will change locations when Francesca’s starts to move in around March.

DSW

Expected opening: 2014

Location: The new 18,800-square-foot store will open on the Lower Level in the JC Penney wing. According to McNamara, "None of the stores currently located in the wing plan to leave the center at this time. These changes won’t take place until late this year, so we are not able to announce the plans quite yet."

She ended with a little teaser: "We also hope to announce a few more incoming stores later in the year."
