Where's the Money? Mapping Eden Prairie Incomes by Census Tract

What's the range of incomes represented in Eden Prairie? And how do the closest neighbors of Eden Prairie residents compare? Read on to find the answer.

Drive through Eden Prairie, and you will notice that some blocks are more affluent than others. But just how wide is the disparity between different parts of town?

Thanks to the efforts of the website, Rich Blocks, Poor Blocks, we have the answers to those questions. The site uses data compiled from the 2006-2010 American Community Survey to show median household income by census tract.

The data show that the median household income in Eden Prairie ranges from $61,477 to $145,833. According to the data, the census tracts near the Bearpath Golf & Country Club are the richest, with a median household income of $145,833. Most tracts south of Pioneer Trail and east of Eden Prairie Road have a median household income of between $102,604 and $125,167.

The tracts near Eden Prairie Center have the lowest median incomes, between $61,477 and $63,656.

Minnesota as a whole has a median income range of $49,964 to $60,207.
